John Hertsgaard was a founding member of VSCR and a long time SCCA member, participating as driver, Treasurer, and Steward for the LOL division. His many years of racing his shining silver Formula Junior Special were among the highlights of his life. He passed away in Fairview Southdale Hospital of complications from cancer and stroke. His dedication and contributions to motorsports in Minnesota will be greatly missed.
John’s memorial service will be at Washburn McReavy Edina Chapel on Monday, October 13th. Visitation 10:00 am, service at 11.
